Hello!
Nope, I’ve not disappeared completely… just been a bit busy!
So time for a catch-up then… well, mum and dad are away celebrating mum’s 60th birthday, she is 60 on Wednesday, and we are having a party next weekend when they get home. Nigel and I have finally got the hallway decorated, and have got the house mostly straight… though we have now been advised to get a new boiler, as the back boiler we have was apparently decommissioned 32 years ago and is not running as efficiently as it once did!! So that will be a bit of an expense… and we have decided that while we are at it, we are going to board out the loft and make two extra “rooms”. We have a massive roof space really, so we might as well make the use of the space we have, especially as we are only in a flat…
We have booked our next holiday! We are office to see Rachel, Dexter & the kids in California in July… and we can’t wait! I am looking into car hire and travel insurance at the moment, I am not sure what car to go for, although I am tempted by a hoofing great big 4x4, just because I can!!
Anyway… back to searching for insurance quotes and cars! I won’t leave it so long next time… I promise!
Don't go for a 4x4. They're really inefficient and terrible polluters!
