We are having some more decorating done at home… and I have just had to pack away all the books that I have stored on shelves in the hall… I forgot I had so many, and a large number of them I have yet to read, I just don’t seem to find the time lately!
The book I am currently trying to plough my way through is Frank Bruno’s autobiography “Fighting Back”. Nigel got it for me for Christmas, and I am still reading (I didn’t start it right away... honest!). I wanted to read it, because I had read a review, and seen some of a documentary on TV about him, which said that he was diagnosed with Bipolar (otherwise known as Manic Depression). I wanted to read about what he went through, as such a hi-profile celebrity, and how he has coped with it and recovered from the depression… because I have heard from Nigel what he went through when he was diagnosed.
I can recommend the book; it details his career as a boxer as well as his experiences otherwise, and makes for some interesting reading.
