A report in the Standard Lite this lunchtime gives some advice on avoiding the Kama Sutra virus that's been another damp squib in terms of global PC destruction. The second point of advice they give caught my attention:

Ensure your copy of Windows is up to date (Viruses do not infect Apple computers)

Stupid, stupid, stupid people. Sure, the majority of viruses do not affect anything but a Windows based operating system, but there are some virus writers out there hell bent on annoying users of other software as well.

Ignorant people should not be allowed to broadcast.

I'm sorry - I will try not to do it again.

Oh, no, hang on. You meant the think Journo-type. In which case I'll continue to spout forth senseless rubbish. ;-)
